ProppiAI Research

Original research on residential tenancy, compliance, and document patterns across New Zealand and Australia. Every report publishes its sources, sample size, date range, and methodology alongside the findings — no fabricated statistics, no unattributed claims.

See our editorial standards for the sourcing, fact-check, and publication gate that every research report passes through before it ships.

Methodology standards

Every ProppiAI research report discloses the following before any findings appear on the page:

  • Sample size per region. New Zealand and Australian samples are reported separately. If one region's sample is too small for reliable inference, we say so and do not aggregate it into the other.
  • Date range. The ingestion window used for every figure, in ISO dates.
  • Data provenance. Every statistic is labelled as ProppiAI-origin ("Based on analysis of N documents ingested via ProppiAI between X and Y") and never presented as a market-wide figure.
  • Limitations. Known selection biases, missing jurisdictions, and caveats are disclosed in the body of the report, not buried in a footnote.
  • Fact-check gate. Every headline statistic is independently re-derived from the source data before publication. Any figure that can't be reproduced is removed, not softened.

Upcoming research

The first reports are in progress. Each one is gated on a sample size large enough to report per-region figures without misrepresentation, so publication dates move when the data moves. We never ship a report with a placeholder number.
