About Proppi

Proppi is a property document and compliance assistant for landlords, investors, and property managers across New Zealand and Australia. We turn the documents you already have — leases, invoices, inspection reports, insurance policies, building reports — into reviewable property work: cited answers, document packs, compliance reviews, and action lists.

Who we are

Proppi is built and operated by Proppi Limited, a New Zealand registered company (NZBN 9429053332912). We are a small, focused team based in New Zealand, building software for the dual New Zealand and Australian property market.

Why we built this

Property documents arrive constantly — from agents, accountants, insurers, councils, contractors, and tenants — and they end up scattered across email, drives, and folders. The information inside them (lease expiry dates, insurance renewals, healthy-homes deadlines, compliance certificates) only matters if you can find it when you need it. Proppi exists to prepare that work from the evidence, keep it cited to the source document, and leave the decision with you.

What we believe

• Your data is yours. We do not use your documents to train AI models, and we do not sell or share your information. You can export everything at any time.
• Region matters. Tax and tenancy rules differ between New Zealand and Australia — and again between Australian states. We never paper over those differences.
• Accuracy over speed. We cite primary sources (Inland Revenue, the Australian Taxation Office, Tenancy Services, state tenancy bodies) and we date-stamp everything we publish. See our editorial standards for the rules we hold ourselves to.
• No advice, just information. Proppi is information software, not a substitute for a qualified accountant, lawyer, or property manager. For decisions about your specific situation, talk to a licensed professional in your region.
